Persona 1: Alexis (Dog-mom)

Alexis is a full-time marketing associate, who works in office 2 days a week. She wants to find a few walkers to walk her dogs regularly, so she has max flexibility for scheduling. She’d like discounts for being a regular user.

Goals

  • Find a trustworthy dog-walker

  • Find someone active who can play and run around with my dogs to tire them out

  • Stick with the same service, for convenience and discounts

Frustrations

  • Don’t want to swipe through too many identical profiles

  • Need to leave detailed instructions because of gate codes, tricky parking situation, etc.

  • Don’t necessarily want the same person to walk them every week

Persona 2: Mark (Dog-walker)

Mark has walked dogs for 3 years on the side of his other freelance gigs. He never knows what his week will look like, so he values flexibility. He also wants to charge based on his certifications and experience.

Goals

  • Supplement income with more walks

  • Create a profile once, automatically updates when stats increase

  • Be able to live chat with clients and share GPS location for trust and safety

Frustrations

  • Want my certifications to help me get more clients

  • Need more flexibility with scheduling and communication

  • Need the app to notify my client when I arrive
